Niraj Bora of PG 1st semester represented Assam in Junior National Powerlifting Championship and won all the Junior titles plus set a national record in Benchpress and Deadlift at the age of 21. He won gold in Deadlift Junior category (242.5 kgs), gold in Benchpress Junior category (150 kgs) and 1st place in overall Junior category. He also secured 3rd place in Benchpress open category. He has qualified to represent India in the World Championship
