QUOTIENTA - A Quiz Competition on Social Media

QUOTIENTA, a quiz competition centered around the theme of "Social Media," was organised on March 7, 2024, at Cotton University. Organized by TEENCON in collaboration with the Department of Mass Communication, Journalism, and Media Studies, the event aimed to test participants' knowledge and understanding of various aspects of social media platforms.

The event was graced by the Registrar of Cotton University Dr. Arindam Garg and Academic Registrar Dr. Bedanta Bora. The competition was conducted by quizmaster Dr. Biswayan Bhattacharjee.

The competition which was open for all Cottonians attracted a significant turnout, with a total of 18 participating teams and more than 60 viewers. The quiz was conducted in two rounds. A preliminary knockout round was conducted to eliminate teams. Eight teams made it to the second and  final round. Students participated in teams of two each.
